Owner & Listing Terms
Rules and declarations that apply whenever an owner publishes or materially edits a rental listing.
Owner declarations
You confirm that: (a) you are the owner or an authorised representative; (b) photographs and content are yours or lawfully licensed; (c) rent, deposit, availability, amenities and location are not knowingly misleading; (d) the listing does not unlawfully discriminate or violate applicable law; and (e) you will promptly correct or remove outdated information.
Prohibited listings
Fake properties, duplicate/spam listings, impersonation, bait pricing, fabricated availability, unlawful content, misleading claims, and fraudulent or suspicious payment requests are prohibited.
Verification labels
Owner KYC verifies identity only to the extent stated by HomeofIndia. Do not represent an identity check as proof of legal ownership unless a separate property-document review has been completed and the exact scope of that review is disclosed.
Rental transaction
You remain responsible for property-law compliance, local requirements, tenant screening decisions, legally appropriate rental/lease documents, receipts, taxes and obligations arising from the tenancy.
Moderation
HomeofIndia may request supporting information, investigate complaints, limit visibility, remove a listing or suspend an account where reasonably necessary for safety, fraud prevention or Terms enforcement.
Agreement
These Owner & Listing Terms form part of the HomeofIndia Terms of Service.
